Last Thursday, discount April 12th, I got a chance to attend the invitation-only segment of Simon Fashion Now™ show presented by Cadillac at the Houston Galleria, together with a few other Houston bloggers. The show actually ran from April 12-14 and beginning Friday, it was open for public and free of charge.
The Simon Fashion Now™ concept is all about showcasing styles and trends that are immediately available to the consumers in the stores.
The runway featured styles available NOW at the stores from designers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, CH Carolina Herrera, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Jimmy Choo, Max Mara, St. John and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Cadillac was so gracious to let me arrive in style at the show with a Cadillac CTS (pictures to follow) and allowed me to keep it and enjoy it for one full week! We also got to sit front row and got a bag full of goodies. Not to mention that Gigi's Asian Bistros dumplings served during cocktail were the best! The night was so much fun and was very well put together. Congratulations to the team behind this event! I definitely can't wait to go to next year's show.
Here are some pictures…hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the event!
Sometimes a camera FAIL can give a good silhouette effect too! *wink*
Love the tangerine tango color scheme at the event.
The event was packed.
We got a chance to speak briefly with Jacque Ellis, the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Special Events for Corporate Marketing at Simon Property Group. She is also the Style Expert for Simon Fashion Now™ events.

Suzie Flores, the stylish lady behind @houstoncadillac on Twitter. Also from Fleishman-Hillard. (Thanks Shasie of Live Life in Style for lending me this picture of Suzie. Camera FAIL on my end.)
And now…the RUNWAY pictures! It's really exciting to see available trends on the runway from the best known designers out there: fringes, florals, brights, colorblocking and patterns. You have to forgive me as I don't remember who the designer is in most of them. (I was a photographer/blogger at work and taking notes was not a priority over pictures, haha!)
At some point, I have to take pictures of the shoes. After all, the ensemble is not complete without it, don't you agree?
