A couple of weeks ago, I shared how you can style a white button down shirt a casual way. If you missed that post, you can check it out here. That’s of course just one way to style it casually. I can think of a few more ways to do it for a casual look.

Today’s outfit is comprised of a lot of pieces that I already have in my closet, thus, I have a lot of other options for you below. I realized that a lot of people have corporate jobs and though I’ve never been a corporate girl (nor have I ever dreamed of becoming one – nothing wrong with it though!), I’ve always admired well-dressed corporate working women. Whenever we’re shooting in Downtown and I see those type of women, I can’t help but admire them. They often look smart and confident.

So here’s for dressing for success ladies!  I know it’s pretty common to wear a white button down shirt for work but to put a twist to it to make it more springy is this…add a pastel accent. Most corporate women I’ve seen always wear neutral colors and that’s fine if there’s a color code required. However, add a springy vibe to your work outfit this with either a light blue blazer and a blush handbag like I did here. A light blue jacket isn’t readily available in a lot of stores it seems so check out the ones I’ve suggested below.

If there’s not any that you like, try a blush blazer instead and a light blue handbag and a light blue pumps.

Now this might take a little getting used to if you’re not used to incorporating colors in your work outfit. But get out of your comfort zone a little bit and have fun with some pastels this season!
