A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to work with Reebok on a fun Girls’ Night Out event at DSW. I’m sure y’all are familiar with this brand. At some point in my growing up years, I had worn a pair of Reebok Classics in white and I was so excited to be have reconnected with another pair again!
It’s like reconnecting with an old fling. Ha! The Reebok Classics are so comfortable that they’ve become my go-to shoes everyday since I received them. Whether I’m running an errand in shorts, jeans, or a casual dress, I feel confident and comfortable in them.
Make no mistake. Don’t equate classic with old-fashioned. A lot of women my age and younger are wearing them and it’s just as stylish as any other style or brands that you would want to wear with your casual clothing items.… View Post
A few days ago, I shared with you guys 5 Tips On What To Do With Your Tax Refund. Tax season can be an exciting time for most people because it brings in some much-needed extra cash – whether it’s to pay off some outstanding debts or provide a vacation or some leisure time with the family.
One of the things that I highly recommend is getting Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan with Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data. I know in this day and age, it’s easy to rack up cellphone bills but with Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan, you can get unlimited talk, text, and data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE then 2G plus a free VUDU movie credit every month ($7 value) per line for $49.88.
Whatever the case might be, a little movie night for your family doesn’t hurt! Typically, my idea of a movie night is no-sweat! After all, you want to enjoy the time with your family and not get tired in rigid preparation and not enjoy the movie with your fam bam. You want your family to enjoy your presence as well. … View Post

I’m slowing going back to the swing of things guys! It’s been a few months of wedding planning and then the wedding and honeymoon. It’s been such a whirlwind…a roller coaster journey to say the least.
It’s been an exciting time in my life and truly grateful for all the blessings. I can’t believe that it’s been a little over a month since I got married! My husband and I wanted to celebrate our “first month anniversary” but not entirely sure what happened but we didn’t get to. So we went to Red Lobster the other day instead to celebrate.
Since it’s Lobsterfest, it totally was the perfect time to not only celebrate our first month of marriage bliss but also to visit Red Lobster and munch on those delicious lobster tails!… View Post
This may be my last post for this year 2016. I’m so grateful for what 2016 has brought me and truly excited for what 2017 has to offer. I’ve been blogging for five and a half years now and many bloggers have come and gone…but I’ve stayed. For those of you who have been following my blog from the beginning, THANK YOU! It might be a cliché but words are truly not enough to say how thankful I am for your continued support.
While 2016 has been one of my best years, it didn’t come without challenges. There have been many ups and downs but one of the greatest things that ever happened was getting engaged. It’s the most exciting feeling in the world!
In 3 weeks, André and I will be starting 2017 as a husband and wife. It’s definitely a HUGE change and I’m hoping and praying for a smooth transition. We’ve been both single for awhile before being in a relationship together but we’ve also been close friends for 5 years. It’s exciting to see how God turned things around to bring us closer together and taking us to another level. … View Post
Five days till Christmas! Wow. Seriously, just wow. I can’t believe that it’s already that time of the year! It’s only as if Christmas last year just passed by and in only a few more days, we’re already celebrating Christmas 2016.
I’m sure that many of you, just like myself, are huslin’ and bustlin’. This season, is the most fun and meaningful time for everyone, but it’s also the busiest and can be the most stressful if not put into perspective.
Now, I am not usually the one to be in the kitchen preparing food and cooking meals during the holidays. Maybe that will change when I get married, ha! My mom is an awesome cook and I’m marrying a wonderful cook as well! If you remember, my fiancé helped me with my Food, Fashion, and Football back in October. … View Post
Thanksgiving Day is just a couple of days away, followed by the wonderful Christmas and holiday season. While this is such a great time to get friends and family together, it can also put such a stress to us. The food preparations and gift shopping, not to mention the house cleaning, the traveling (if any) and all the financial things involved. If we’re not aware of this, we will eventually succumb to the stress and not enjoy the time we have with friends and family.
With that being said, here are some practical tips for a stress-free holiday…… View Post
