Isn’t the embroidered trend such a darling? I think it’s really pretty and hope you like it just as much as I do. What’s not to love about it? I know for some it can look old-fashioned but for those of you who loves the Southern style, I’m pretty sure that this trend is dear to you!
If I tell you that this embroidered off-shoulder dress is only $19.99, would you believe it? You better believe it is because it’s true. It’s a little sheer so you’re going to need a slip underneath or if you’re like me, you’d wear boy shorts. Ha! Otherwise, it will make a good swimsuit cover-up for any of your upcoming getaway! Gotta love the bright primary colors too. Don’t you think?
Let’s get real ladies…how many of you own denim mini skirt? To be perfectly honest, this is my only one! But I absolutely love it. This is probably one piece of clothing that I’m not a very big fan of but I gotta admin, it’s CUTE! I also love it’s semi versatility. I love that you can look really casual in it by wearing a simple v-neck t-shirt or look a bit dressy with a blouse just like I did here. I’m pretty sure that many of you fashionistas out there can think of other ways to style it up or down.
I’m not sure if y’all are familiar with the brand GRLFRND but this brand is just freakin’ stylish when it comes to denim! They are a little bit on the higher end pricewise but if you have a girl next door type of style, GRLFRND is for you girlfriend! No pun intended.
The other day I showed you how you can host a luxurious bridal shower. If you’re a Maid of Honor or a bridesmaid at an upcoming wedding this summer, you will find the tips very helpful so if you missed it, click here.
For us women, it always seems to be a challenge to find what to wear…whether it’s an errand day or a special occasion, it’s either we don’t know what to wear or we don’t have enough clothes. Trust me, I know how it feels. I can totally relate.
And since I’ve had my own bridal shower a year and a half or so ago, looking for a bridal shower dress is just as challenging as finding your wedding dress. What can I say? First world problems.
Happy first day of summer! What better way to celebrate the first day of summer and the LONGEST day of the year than to wear a maxi dress meet romper in palm print?
Although to be perfectly honest, the past few days in Houston is nothing but rain and gloomy skies and today is not any different. Today, we’re supposed to enjoy about 14 hours of daylight since the sun supposedly rose at 5:43 this morning and is not supposed to go down till
If you’re following me on Instagram, then you’ve probably already seen this outfit. If not, please do so. I normally post sneak peeks of upcoming outfits on Instagram first before it goes live on my blog.
Being a woman can be tricky sometimes, ain’t it? Especially in this day and age. I don’t know about you ladies, but sometimes, I feel that way. It doesn’t help that we’re constantly being fed with unsolicited opinions and advices from social media. Advices such as “You can do whatever you want with your body.” or “Flaunt what you got.” It honestly irked me when I saw the first quote from a popular brand account I follow.
Of course, we can do whatever we want with our body. It’s our body after all. But we all have to realize that we can’t do anything at all, whether in life in general, relationships, business, career, family, without repercussions. One of the universal laws is The Law of Cause and Effect or the Law of Polarity, which in summary, basically states that what you put out there, you get back.
We often hear the saying “dress for success.” But what does it really mean? What comes to mind when you hear someone say it?
Whether we like it or not, we live in a material world. We live in a society where we are judged by our appearance. Appearance does matter, no matter how many times we’ve been told “Do not judge a book by its cover.” We judge others by how they look and we are judged by how we look – in business and in day to day basis.
What people see on the outside is you telling them how to address you in their thought, words, and action. Think about your own experience for example…when you see a man or a woman who’s dressed smartly, you often feel a sense of respect and admiration for that person, correct? Put yourself in the position of every person you meet for the first, second, third time or even everyday. The way you dress and carry yourself has an impact towards the people you meet.
Advance happy Memorial Day to all of you my readers in the States. This is such an important occasion, in commemoration of the men and women, who served our country courageously and selflessly. We salute and honor you!

Are you ladies familiar with the store Agaci? I just recently discovered it and boy oh boy, I’m a little addicted. Ha! They have the cutest pieces with Forever21 and H&M price points, but in my opinion, with better quality materials.
